Application Requirements

Digital Egypt Builders Initiative is a free scholarship granted by the Egyptian Government to promising young graduates of faculties corresponding to the required academic track.

• The tracks of (Software Development - Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing – Cybersecurity - Embedded Systems) from graduates of the following:

  • Faculties of Engineering, departments of computers, electronics, communications, medical, or mechatronics.
  • Faculties of Computer sciences and Information.
  • Faculties of Science specializing in computers or statistics.

• The Digital Arts track from graduates of the following:

  • Faculties of Engineering, Department of Architecture.
  • Faculties of Applied Arts.
  • Faculties of Fine Arts.
  • Faculty of Urban Planning.

• Business Analysis and Enterprise Resource Planning tracks from graduates of the following:

  • Faculties of Economics.
  • Faculties of Commerce.
  • Faculties of Business Administration.

• Electronics design track from Engineering faculties, departments of computers, electronics, and communications.

The graduates wishing to join the initiative must fulfill the application requirements as follows:

The applicant must be :

  • Egyptian nationality.
  • Graduate from one of the aforementioned faculties corresponding to the required specialization.
  • Graduated from 5 years at most.
  • Have a minimum overall grade of “Very good”, or a minimum GPA of 3.0. For GUC graduates, GPA must be less than 2.0.
  • English level of at least B2 or its equivalent.
  • For males: Completed or exempted from military service.
  • An acknowledgment of part-time commitment to join the initiative or the approval of the employer.

Admission Criteria

  • Fulfillment of all application requirements
  • Successfully pass all admission tests.
  • Passing personal interviews.
  • Priority for those with TOEFL IBT score of 80 or IELTS 6.5 or equivalent test.
